Design Eliminates Clamps that can interfere with Chip Flow

Rouse boring bars feature an improved design with triple-tip boring bars capability. This feature offers an improved “triple-tip” insert located within a precision machined pocket to eliminate shifting under heavy cuts. A new
cutting-edge only requires removing a single screw and indexing the insert.

It is not necessary to remove the tool from a chuck or tool post (as with brazed tip tools). Rouse’s Triple-Tip bars may be used with boring heads, engine lathes, turret lathes and automatics where either the workpiece or the turn tools.

Machined pocket keeps insert from moving laterally or shifting under heavy loads

Each tool has three, precision ground, carbide cutting edges.
